NAIT, as a polytechnic, has a mandate to serve industry. We respond to that mandate by providing open access to experts and equipment with a dedicated team that works with industry partners of all sizes to test new ideas and products. Specialized “Acceleration Services” provide organizations access to advisers that can provide an assist in validating and testing new service offerings and the TechGym provides access to prototyping equipment and the experts to run the machinery. There are hundreds of pieces of equipment available with the busiest being the 3D metal and plastics printers, CNC machines, water-jet cutters, and environmental testing chambers.
