The nanoFAB is a national, open-access training, service, and collaboration centre, focused on academic and industrial applications in micro- and nanoscale fabrication and characterization.

The nanoFAB provides a wide variety of models for accessing and engaging with our capabilities and expertise. To the extent possible we offer flexibility in trying to meet your needs.
With a primary mandate of education and development of highly qualified personnel, the nanoFAB provides training and first hand experience on nearly all tools and processes offered. Where training may not be advisable or necessary, the nanoFAB offers fee for service sample analysis on a variety of our characterization tools. For industrial projects interested in prototyping of devices, the nanoFAB offers a fabrication processing service.
