Twice a year we open our doors to innovative Canadian companies in the food and beverage, and health and wellness industries. Our program provides extensive expertise for entrepreneurs to learn how to grow and scale their businesses. As a not-for-profit organization, we create an ecosystem of likeminded individuals and industry leaders who are providing coaching, mentorship and ongoing support to our cohort members, as a way to give back to the community. Our vision is to support Canadian economic growth by helping unique and innovative companies reach their fullest potential, locally and globally.
The founders take part in a 5-month accelerator program designed to rapidly increase valuation through sales, distribution, marketing support and much more. The accelerator also provides members with access to blue chip service providers who deliver workshops in all areas of business development.
Although we encourage each company to spend as much time as possible in our space in Calgary, where it is not feasible, we require each company to spend a minimum of five programming weeks, plus Demo Day week, in the accelerator.
At the end of the program, founders will pitch their companies at Demo Day, where they will be introduced to investors to attract the next round of funding. There is also a possibility of receiving investment from the District Ventures Capital.
