Piikani Resource Development Ltd. (PRDL) is a wholly owned corporation of the Piikani Nation, an aboriginal organization that represents Piikani Members. PRDL’s purpose is to assist in the economic development on behalf of the Piikani Nation. PRDL manages several features from the energy industry including Generations, Transmissions and Distributions. PRDL’s mandate is to oversee the development of energy to create economic development opportunities on the Piikani Nation.
The Small Business development portion of Piikani Economic Development is responsible for promoting and supporting small businesses for Piikani Nation members.
There is a Piikani Nation Grant Equity Program for qualified business owners of the Piikani Nation.
